Ingredients
- 1 gal Tomato Paste
- 1 pt Cooking Oil
- 1 pt Cider Vinegar
- 24 oz Brown Sugar (1 ½ lbs)
- 2 large Diced Onions
- ¼ cup Salt
- 1 Tbsp Black Pepper
- 3 cloves Chopped Garlic OR 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- ¼ cup Dry Mustard mixed with water into paste
- 2 Tbsp Liquid Smoke
- 3 oz Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 4 tsp Tabasco Sauce
- 4 oz Dark Molasses
- ¼ cup Meat Tenderizer
- 12 oz Can of Beer
Directions
- Use large stove-top kettle
- Combine all ingredients except for the beer into the large kettle
- Simmer on medium-low heat, stirring often for around two hours
- When the onions are tender, add the beer
- Let simmer for another ½ hour to an hour
- Sauce is now ready to use
- (Optional) Can the sauce in a water bath
- (Optional) Freeze the sauce
