Our favorite homemade syrup! Use it on any dish you would use maple syrup.

Ingredients
- ¼ cup Butter
- ¼ cup Milk or Half&Half
- ½ cup Brown Sugar
Directions
- Melt butter in a pot on the stove
- Once butter is melted, add the half-and-half and brown sugar
- Stir continuously on medium-low heat until the syrup begins to bubble, then stir for another 1 to 2 minutes
- Remove syrup from stove and pour into a heat safe container
- Let cool and then serve!
- Our favorite combination is sliced bananas on French toast and then smothering it in brown sugar syrup
- This syrup stores well in the fridge
