Brown Sugar Syrup

Our favorite homemade syrup! Use it on any dish you would use maple syrup.

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup Milk or Half&Half
  • ½ cup Brown Sugar
Directions
  1. Melt butter in a pot on the stove
  2. Once butter is melted, add the half-and-half and brown sugar
  3. Stir continuously on medium-low heat until the syrup begins to bubble, then stir for another 1 to 2 minutes
  4. Remove syrup from stove and pour into a heat safe container
  5. Let cool and then serve!
    • Our favorite combination is sliced bananas on French toast and then smothering it in brown sugar syrup
  6. This syrup stores well in the fridge
