Lasagna

This meal makes enough for the whole family and will leave them satisfied as well.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • ½ tsp Garlic Salt
  • 6 oz can of Tomato Paste
  • 1 – 16 oz can of Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 – 16 oz can of Tomato Sauce
  • 1 – 16 oz container Cottage Cheese
  • 1 box of Lasagna Noodles
  • 1 lb shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Brown the beef in a skillet and season with the garlic salt
  3. When done, add the next 6 ingredients
  4. Cover and cook for 20 minutes on low
  5. After cooking is done, add the cottage cheese and mix well
  6. Grease a 9 x 13 pan
  7. Begin layering by first adding a meat layer, covering it with mozzarella cheese, and then the lasagna noodles
  8. Repeat step 6 until pan is filled with the final layer being meat and cheese only
  9. When complete, add ½ cup water over the top layer
  10. Cover with foil and bake for 30 – 45 minutes until the surface is bubbly and the noodles are cooked
  11. In the last 5 minutes of baking, remove the foil
  12. Let set for about 5 minutes before cutting into it
