Lemon Cake

When life gives you lemons, make lemon cake!

Cake:

  • 1 pkg. Lemon Supreme Cake
  • 1 small pkg. Lemon Jell-0
  • 4 Eggs
  • ¾ cup Water
  • ¾ cup Oil

Icing:

  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • Juice of two lemons
Directions
  1. Using an electric mixer, combine all cake ingredients together until smooth
  2. Bake as directed on cake mix box. (350° for 30 minutes)
  3. Remove from oven and place on cooling rack
  4. Using a fork, poke holes in the cake every one inch
  5. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice together until smooth
  6. While cake is warm , pour the icing over the cake
  7. Continue cooling cake until ready to eat.
  8. Cut cake into 24 equal portions
  9. Place 4 pieces of cake on each plate and deliver to each unit
