Chicken Adobo

Another Filipino family recipe that will leave your mouth watering before and after.

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs Chicken Wings (you can use other parts of the chicken if you want.  Grandma liked using wings)
  • 5 dried Bay Leaves
  • ¾ cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 cup White Vinegar
  • 5 cloves Chopped Garlic
  • (Optional) ½ Chopped Onion
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Add all ingredients to a large pot with a lid
  2. Cook with lid on pot for 30 to 45 minutes under medium heat. (I start off at medium high, then turn the heat down to medium low after 15 min to cook for 45 min total)
  3. Serve with cooked rice
