Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- ½ tsp Garlic Salt
- 6 oz can of Tomato Paste
- 1 – 16 oz can of Tomatoes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 – 16 oz can of Tomato Sauce
- 1 – 16 oz container Cottage Cheese
- 1 box of Lasagna Noodles
- 1 lb shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Brown the beef in a skillet and season with the garlic salt
- When done, add the next 6 ingredients
- Cover and cook for 20 minutes on low
- After cooking is done, add the cottage cheese and mix well
- Grease a 9 x 13 pan
- Begin layering by first adding a meat layer, covering it with mozzarella cheese, and then the lasagna noodles
- Repeat step 6 until pan is filled with the final layer being meat and cheese only
- When complete, add ½ cup water over the top layer
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 – 45 minutes until the surface is bubbly and the noodles are cooked
- In the last 5 minutes of baking, remove the foil
- Let set for about 5 minutes before cutting into it
